Whatβs something you wish friends and family understood better about living with MS?

Taste of Generosity - CT
The Taste of Generosity event in CT was a major success last night. If anyone else was there, would love to hear your favorite moment from the night. And if you missed it, keep an eye out for the next one - well worth attending!
Hello!
My name is Amy. Iβve been living with MS for 28 years.
Hi Amy, thanks for introducing yourself.
28 years is no small thing - you've likely got a perspective on this journey that a lot of newer members would genuinely value.
I feel like everything I see about MS is negative. I know I have MS, so I follow other people who have it, but sometimes I want to hear about the good, too. Whatβs one positive change MS has brought into your life?
What a great question and thanks for asking it! I think that my biggest personal change since learning to live w/ MS has truly been a positive one.
I've learned to understand that, sometimes, I just can't...grocery shop. meet a friend, clean etc and that, in those moments, it's ok/best for me to choose what's healthy for me and let go of self imposed expectations.

Glad you had a good time Ray - looks like a great event based on ms life's instagram.
