Hi everyone 👋

I’m Eilis, a postgraduate psychology student from Ireland and a fellow MSer. I’m currently running a study exploring how coaching might support people with MS at work — especially in areas like resilience, confidence, and navigating disclosure.

If you’re 18+, living with MS, and currently working (or have worked in the past 12 months), I’d be so grateful if you could take part in my short, anonymous online survey.

 It takes 20-25 minutes

🔒 It’s fully anonymous and ethically approved by my university

💬 Your input could help shape future workplace support programs for our community

Transforming Healthcare with 5G: A New Era of Connected Care

The integration of 5G technology in healthcare is not just a futuristic concept—it's already revolutionizing how care is delivered, accessed, and experienced. From remote surgeries to real-time patient monitoring, 5G is unlocking powerful capabilities that were once thought impossible.

Here’s how 5G is shaping the future of healthcare:

1. Ultra-Fast, Real-Time Data Transfer

5G’s ultra-low latency and high-speed connectivity enable instant data transmission, which is critical in time-sensitive scenarios like emergency care, intensive monitoring, and virtual consultations. Clinicians can access large imaging files, EHRs, and live data streams without delays, resulting in faster diagnosis and decision-making.

2. Remote Patient Monitoring and Telehealth

With 5G, remote patient monitoring becomes more accurate and reliable, even in rural or underserved areas. Wearables and IoT devices can continuously transmit vital signs in real-time, empowering providers to offer proactive care and reduce hospital readmissions.

Cutting out dairy

I never thought I’d give up cheese - but cutting out most dairy helped me feel less bloated and a little more energized. It’s not for everyone, but for me, it reduced some inflammation and just made me feel better overall.

If you're curious, try skipping it for a few weeks and see how your body reacts. You might be surprised.

I've tried this...I give you a lot of credit. It was hard for me. I'm a cheese lover. But I have talked to a couple of people who cut dairy out of their diet completely and they have seen benefits.

Also a fan of the mediterranean diet - lots of beans, and vegetables in my diet. I try to cut out refined sugar as much as I can since I usually feel a crash after I eat foods with sugar.
