Managing type one diabetes with newly diagnosed ms

Hi I wanted to check in with people who have type one diabetes and have recently been diagnosed with ms or who have been with ms for a while. I’d like to understand a shared experience. How easy is it. How bad is it. Is Kesimpta good for us? What are your suggestions?

Hi Rochelle! I don't have Type 1 diabetes myself so I can't share personal experience there, but managing both MS and diabetes sounds tough, and I'm sorry you're dealing with both. The Kesimpta question is really one for your doctors (neurologist + endocrinologist) since they know your full picture.

I've had MS for a while though, and I won't lie - some days are tough. Having a good neurologist you trust makes a real difference, and it's okay to lean on your care team (and this community) on the harder days.
