My husband had MS and I’m working on how to be supportive.

I'm sorry that youre feeling so lost and it is hard being the caregiver. I appreciate you reaching out and showing that youre really wanting to make it better at home for everyone! Youre an amazing wife and I hope you see that regardless of the little tough moments.

My husband and I struggled at the beginning when I got my diagnosis and learning what my needs are. It seems like your husband and I are/were in the same field. I truly believe that my well-butrin (antidepressant) helps with my fatigue at times and could help moods. I still do have those days, dont get me wrong but what my husband does that seems helpful is to check-in each day to see what my needs look like that day. Sometimes I just need some extra chores done or handling our three kids for the day to give me time to recuperate or just time to breathe or some days its a little quality time so I'm not the "sick" one or that I can no longer can do fun things. I also see a therapist too.. just because youre in the field does not mean you dont need someone else's point of view. Overall - lots of communication and checking in helps for us!

Hope this helps!
