Odd MS patient

Hi all, I’m living MS in reverse and wondering if anyone else has a similar experience. I had brain cancer over 20 years ago and have to be scanned once a year because my type of brain cancer can recur. 14 years ago the doctors sent me to a MS specialist to rule out MS after seeing “spots” on my annual scan. It turns out that it was MS. So for 14 years (until this year), I haven’t had any major MS problems. This year I got a new lesion that is a jerk. Now I’m trying to mentally figure out how to deal with the disease I’ve had for so long but I can’t find anyone who has a similar story. Is there anyone here who has been through something similar?

Thanks for sharing Ashley. I can’t help personally, but even after years of stability, a new lesion can really shake things up. You’re definitely not alone, and the ms life community is here to listen as you figure out how to handle MS all over again.
